Practical Classics Restoration Show
All You Need Is Love
This year was the 3rd year we have been to the show and it was good to catch up with friends and customers old and new. Zac Ware was joined by Tim Brennan and Jack Lovell, one of our mechanics, who were on hand to give any technical advice
In Hall Nine we were next to the Wheeler Dealers and the main entrance, a great spot to catch the passing trade. On display was a Marroon B Replica Convertible with Biscuit trim, restored and converted by us a few years ago. Though we got no bites on this car at the show the interest was strong.
Over on the Live stage Danny Hopkins and the Practical Classics team were completing the restoration of his Jenson Interceptor. The engine had been rebuilt and they weregoing to start it on the the stage for the first time. Feeling a bit stressed Danny asked Zac to play a tune to calm his nerves. Joining up with Richard and Mike from the Barnsley Branch of the MMOC an impromptu 'All You Need Is Love' cheered the crowds and got the odd chuckle when Danny began to ad lib between lines and one of the lines was changed to include his beloved Jenson.
